FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

OJRV Receives Generous Grant from The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (January 15, 2025) – Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) is pleased to announce that it received a second generous grant from The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation.

OJRV will use this funding to support the direct services of its One-on-One Career Transition Services program, which provides individualized, customizable career transition resources to veterans, service members, and military family members at no cost as they seek meaningful civilian careers.

“We are humbled by the generosity of The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation and appreciative of their renewed support so that our services may continue to strengthen the communities we serve and the men and women who serve our country so selflessly. This recognition from such a supportive local partner allows our organization to further our mission to bridge life’s transitional gaps for veterans, service members, and their families,” said Gene Anderson, OJRV’s executive director.

An integral part to OJRV’s mission, the One-on-One Career Transition Services program has become its premier program and a highly successful support structure for veterans, transitioning service members, and military family members transitioning from active duty to the civilian workforce. At what is often an intensely challenging and stressful time, OJRV’s programming takes some of the uncertainty and stress out of the overwhelming transition its clients face. Through the support of generous donors like The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation, OJRV is working hard to ensure its clients secure meaningful, stable employment that allows them to serve and integrate fully into the communities they choose to call home.
