How We Help
First Impressions Workshop
Our First Impressions Workshop is a specialized, three-hour workshop only addressing mock interviews, healthy living techniques, and professional attire opportunities. During the workshop, in-depth mock interviews are provided for clients who are seeking additional assistance with perfecting their interviewing skills. Additionally, no-cost pre-interview haircuts and beard trimmings are provided to attendees through community partnerships. Through partnerships with community organizations, we are also able to provide professional interview attire to those attendees who do not have the financial means to make those purchases themselves. These services instill personal confidence and provide a well-groomed, professional appearance for attendees.
Our Intent
To pair each veteran with the right employer in a position that matches individual interest and skill level.
We conduct career development workshops and seminars virtually and throughout our many locations. These regularly scheduled programs focus on various employment needs of our clients and help strengthen leasting partnerships within our communities.

For a three-hour, in-person interviewing skills session followed by FREE professional attire opportunities!
Interviewing techniques discussed include:
- Company research and interview prep
- Verbal and nonverbal communication
- Competency and behavioral questions
Whom We Serve
We provide employment training and transition assistance services to veterans, service members, and military families at no cost to the participants.
We serve:
- Veterans who received anything other than a dishonorable discharge
- Active duty, National Guard, and reserve component service members
- Military family members
- Caregivers
