FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Operation: Job Ready Veterans Receives Grant Funding from the Indianapolis Foundation
Indianapolis, IN (December 22, 2025) – Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) is honored to announce it has received a grant award from the Indianapolis Foundation.
OJRV will be using this funding to provide career transition services and supportive services for veterans, service members, and military families in Indianapolis, Indiana. OJRV’s One-on-One Career Transition Services offer customized career transition plans tailored to the specific needs of each client, designed to illuminate pathways to employment and translate clients’ military skills to corresponding civilian equivalent skills. These individualized services include resume and cover letter development, job search assistance, interview preparation, networking, social media utilization, and other assistance to address barriers to employment. Additionally, OJRV’s Supportive Services program provides clients with essential items such as grocery gift cards, transportation assistance, professional clothing, and other resources that break down barriers to employment and help veterans achieve career stability.
“We are honored that the Indianapolis Foundation has once again recognized the critical needs facing our veteran community and has chosen to partner with OJRV to address these challenges. It is because of the support of committed organizations like the Indianapolis Foundation that we are able to continue achieving our mission to help place veterans into meaningful careers. Together, we are making a profound and transformative difference in the lives of our local veterans,” said OJRV Executive Director Dr. Gene Anderson.
This grant funding will allow OJRV to work closely with individuals in the Indianapolis area to help them translate their military experience into meaningful civilian careers. The support of the Indianapolis Foundation makes it possible for OJRV to continue delivering personalized guidance to those who have served our country so faithfully.
