Operation: Job Ready Veterans Employment Transition Managers Earn National
Training Certification

Indianapolis, IN (January 15, 2025) – Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) is pleased to announce that its entire staff of Employment Transition Managers (ETMs) are now Certified Federal Job Search Trainers®/Certified Federal Career Coaches®. This nationally recognized training and certification will bolster the professional OJRV staff’s ability to provide individualized career transition services for veterans, service members, and military spouses.

Led by nationally recognized expert Kathryn Troutman of the Resume Place®, the three-day, certified federal job search training and certification program enabled all 14 of OJRV’s ETMs to earn the designation of Certified Federal Job Search Trainers®/Certified Federal Career Coaches®. All OJRV ETMs are now licensed to teach the Ten Steps to a Federal Job® curriculum. As resume writing is the most requested one-on-one service OJRV provides, sharing this knowledge will enhance mentoring, improve the overall client experience, and allow ETMs to provide additional resources and tools through workshops.

The training provided participants with in-depth knowledge on the federal job search process. OJRV can now provide clients with additional expertise in federal job search methods, including composing federal resumes in the outline format, interpreting the Office of Personnel Management’s classification standards for federal jobs, assisting with the USAJOBS application process, and coaching on hiring programs specifically for veterans, military spouses, students, and persons with disabilities.

OJRV ETMs provide One-on-One Career Transition Services virtually and in person to clients.
