About Danny

Danny Portee is the founder, president, and CEO of Professional Management Enterprises, Inc. Prior to starting PME Inc., Danny served proudly in the United States Army for 20 years. Danny served in the capacity of senior telecommunications manager, recruiter, sales manager, and trainer before retiring in 2003. Danny received numerous military awards: four Meritorious Service Medals, six Army Achievement Medals, Army Recruiting Medallion of Excellence, Army Recruiting Ring for Excellence, 6^th Brigade Recruiter of the Year, and 6^th Brigade Large Station of the Year.

Mr. Portee provides daily corporate leadership to his staff, while directing and coordinating national sales, new business development, marketing, and customer service. He manages the company budget and recruits, trains, and supervises professionals on his team—all while maintaining a corporate culture of individual cultivation, diversity, and innovation. Professional Management Enterprises (PME) is a professional services company that focuses on management, consulting, staff augmentation, education, training, counseling, and information technology staffing solutions. In 2019, Mr. Portee started his second company, WellsTrans, which focuses on non-emergency medical transportation and call center operations.

Mr. Portee received his Associate of Science degree from Vincennes University and his Bachelor of Science in human resource management from Oakland City University while serving in the Army. Danny earned his MBA in human resource management from Columbia Southern University in 2010. Mr. Portee other accomplishments includes earning the Human Capital Strategist Certification, Certified Personnel Consultant, Certified Career Coach, Certified Resume Writer, Master Project Manager, Human Resource Project Manager Certified, and HR Selection and Staffing Certification. He’s a board member for Jobs and Prosperity Task Force for American Solutions, Alternative Inc., Operation: Job Ready Vets, Hoosier Veteran Assistance Program (HVAF), and numerous other boards. Mr. Portee was selected by Senator Todd Young office to the West Point selection committee.

Danny and his wife Pam have been married for over 30 years and live in Indianapolis, Indiana.
