Determined to overcome these barriers, I connected with OJRV and my Employment Transition Manager (ETM), Nejuan, who provided invaluable support and resources. With OJRV’s assistance, I received supportive services, and Nejuan referred me to the VA for additional support with transportation. Thanks to this support, I was able to afford appropriate clothing for my new job as a program assistant in the administrative field and received guidance on navigating my commute.
