Operation: Job Ready Veterans Receives Charitable Gift from the Call of Duty Endowment
Indianapolis, IN (January 26, 2021) – Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) is pleased to announce it has received a $500,000 charitable gift from the Call of Duty Endowment (CODE).
OJRV will be using this funding toward job placement services for 595 veterans during 2021. OJRV will be providing one-on-one career transition services and programs in order support the placement of these veterans.
Some of the one-on-one services OJRV will be offering are resume development/revision, cover letter development/revision, interview preparation/coaching, networking strategies, social media utilization, job search assistance.
OJRV will be providing multiple programs offerings in support of the CODE funding. The Virtual Veterans Employment Transition Seminar (VETS) is a faster-paced version of OJRV’s in-person VETS course. The four virtual course modules focus on transition skills, value proposition statement development, civilian resume development, and interviewing skills. OJRV’s First Impressions Workshop is a specialized, three-hour workshop addressing mock interviews, healthy living techniques, and professional attire opportunities. The OJRV Federal Resume Workshop is a specialized, two-hour workshop focused on federal resume writing, performance-based interviewing, and USAJOBS profile development.
