Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) to Further
Outreach and Sustainability Goals in Illinois

Indianapolis, IN (January 31, 2023) – Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) is pleased to announce that they will further outreach and sustainability goals in the Chicagoland area with funds awarded by The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation.

OJRV will be using this funding to build and strengthen partnerships in the Chicagoland area as well as to establish an additional Chicagoland Employment Transition Manager position to strengthen job placement support and career transition services for veterans, service members, and military families. OJRV Employment Transition Managers work closely with individual clients to help translate military skills to corresponding civilian equivalent skills, identify meaningful career pathways, and address individual barriers to employment. One-on-one services offered at no cost to clients include individualized support for resume and cover letter development, job search assistance, interview preparation, networking, social media utilization, and other assistance to help individuals achieve their employment goals.
