Hires New Team Member
Indianapolis, IN (August 20, 2020) – Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) is pleased to announce it has recently hired Darron Hardy as an Employment Transition Specialist.
Darron Hardy honorably served in the United States Army Reserves for 33 years and 10 months, which is inclusive of seven years of active duty. He retired at the rank of Sergeant Major. His last two roles of leadership include Directorate Sergeant Major and Interim Command Sergeant Major. Over the past five years, he has served in various roles within state and federal military programs for career readiness counseling and Veterans Administration benefits. Within these roles, he was responsible for providing Army National Guard service members and their families the knowledge and skills to achieve their civilian career goals through employment and education opportunities. He also instructed service members and dependents on all VA benefits and programs for which they may be eligible. In addition, he mentored new team members as part of their onboarding and orientation.
Darron earned his B.S. in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and his MBA in human resources management from Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He earned a certificate in project management from Villanova University and in business administration and human resources management from Colorado Technical University. Moreover, he completed the VA’s training, Responsibility, Involvement, and Preparation of Claims (TRIP) Program.
