Danny Seely

Employment Transition Manager – Tennessee

Danny Seely serves as the OJRV Employment Transition Manager for Tennessee. His role allows him to aid veterans, service members, and their families who are seeking gainful employment by working with them to overcome employment barriers and build career goals. Danny helps clients transition into civilian employment by providing guidance on networking, interview strategies, resume writing, and one-on-one coaching.

Danny honorably served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. His extraordinary leadership, care of his soldiers, and dedication to mission success was influential to him to becoming a member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club, Honorable Order of Saint Martin, and Honorable Order of Saint Christopher. Upon retiring from his active-duty role, Danny found it difficult to obtain a position that channeled his passion to work with veterans. He found joy working with students who were expelled from traditional school as it was the beginning of him giving back to his community.

He will be obtaining his bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral science from Austin Peay State University in May 2024. Upon completion, he is enrolling at Liberty University to complete a master’s degree program.

Danny is also a proud husband to his wife and father to two children. He continues to give back to his community while setting an example for his children as they volunteer with local community agencies.
