About Anna
Anna Kennelly
Employment Transition Manager – Indiana
Anna Kennelly serves as an OJRV Employment Transition Manager for the Indianapolis community. Anna is an Air Force veteran and a single mother of two sons, and she has one grandson. Maintaining strength and determination through life’s transitions has been the most common thread throughout Anna’s life. She has over 30 years of experience in IT project support as a technical writer, systems engineer, and database management specialist, and she obtained her associate degree in computer science at the age of 50. She has managed dispatch and operations for 60+ drivers, has been a landscaper, and performs her own auto and home repairs. Her wide range of employment and varied experiences enable her to connect well with clients.
Anna regularly volunteers to provide veterans in need with food, supplies, and community outings aimed at creating safe and supportive veteran spaces in which to socialize, relax, have fun, and connect. Anna is passionate about assisting veterans as they transition into the next chapter of their professional and personal lives. She works with clients out of our extension office located in AMVETS Post 99 Louie V. Hider off Lafayette Road. When she is not volunteering, Anna explores the outdoors and turns to nature as her peaceful place. She loves landscaping, fishing, and hiking and is an avid reader of true crime novels.
