“After leaving the military, my PTSD became overwhelming, making it very difficult to find work. Concentrating and focusing on a job seemed impossible for quite some time. While I received help from the Veterans Administration, it was the support from Operation: Job Ready Veterans that truly made a difference. My Employment Transition Manager, Kristal Watts, has been patient and responsive throughout this journey, always available to talk or quickly reply to my emails. She assisted me with my resume, provided interview techniques to help me feel more confident, and even helped me navigate other aspects of my life.

As a result of the assistance I received from Operation: Job Ready Veterans, I have obtained a position at Home Depot as a sales associate, a role that suits me well and minimizes stress. I now hold my head higher, feel hopeful about my future, and am able to support my family without the constant worry of unemployment. Ms. Watts helped me regain my confidence. She is one of the most patient, knowledgeable, and understanding individuals that I have come across in a very long time. Without this agency coming into my life, I am not sure where I would be or what I would be doing now. They offer many resources to keep veterans on track, and for that, I am grateful.
