Thursday morning’s 44News Morning Anchor Melissa Schroeder dedicates a segment to active military and veterans.

This morning she spoke with Mandy Cotton from Operation: Job Ready Veterans. The organization helps veterans get work-force ready from resume building to interview skills and more.

Mandy talked about some of the statistics they are seeing in the Tri-State. She says of the veterans who go through the seminar, there has been an 80% job gain.

The average salary of veterans going through the seminar is $40,000. And, since February more than 50 veterans participated in the class.
